Retrospective

Overall my interviews went very well and were very informative. While certain insights I was hoping to find weren’t as revealing, plenty of other information and insights were found which largely attributed to a great foundation of my research and design. The data and information derived from these interviews have given me a much better idea and understanding of the problem space and how my design can more better address user needs.
- Users want things to be simple and easy to use.
- Security is a primary concern and almost every interview mentioned the importance of it.
- Every user interviewed expressed that they would like to have more budgeting functionality and believed it would be of use to them.
- The general consensus of these interviews was that people would much rather have a singular product to view and manage their finances compared to multiple products for each bank/service.
- Almost every user interviewed expressed that they would like to see more critical data visualized and have access to tools that will help them better manage their money and spending in an easy to use consolidated platform or tool.
